Welcome to Tall Woods Garden House

About Us
Beth Holland and Mike Morgan built the Tall Woods Garden House almost 3 decades ago as a production greenhouse to support Beth’s downtown flower shop and garden center, Holland’s Flowers. Over the years it has developed into a community gathering space, with events such as business retreats, retirement parties, memorials, fundraising for nonprofits, and most notably, 10 performances of Shakespeare’s play, “Much Ado About Nothing” in the garden.
The Garden House and outbuildings, built almost entirely out of 100 year old schoolhouse windows and recycled lumber, consists of over 2000 square feet of space, and can accommodate a sit down meal or meeting of 40 persons under cover. There is room outdoors for many more, as people can wander the beautiful gardens or trails in the old growth forest. There is a large lawn area for dining in good weather or events such as badminton. A small kitchen is available for catering setup.
The Garden House is available from May through October, although events have taken place at other times of the year.
